 In a city where it's hard to find a good GC, Popular Bathroom is a gem. I've worked with Abraham for nearly a decade on a number of different projects, and he has always been more than fair, easy to work with, and very attentive. No endless calls without a response! Our most recent project together was a complete hardwood floor replacement at a condo that I'm renting out. I was experiencing noise complaints from the people downstairs, and it was determined that I had an insufficient subfloor that was letting too much through. It was a difficult job, as I had tenants in my condo at the time, and it wouldn't be possible for the job to be done while they were living in the condo. They were out of town for a few days over Christmas, and Abraham and his team got the floors turned over in record time, despite the fact that Abraham was suffering from the flu at the time!  My husband and I wanted to remodel an upstairs bathroom a year ago and were searching for the right Contactor to do the job. Abraham/Popular Bathroom came highly recommended. It wasn't a big job, but Abraham did the job beautifully! So, when we decided to remodel our master bathroom, kitchen and living room (a much bigger job!), we asked Abraham to come out to look at the job and provide us with a bid. He was very thorough when looking at all the details of what needed to be done and gave us an accurate estimate. In the past, we had other contractors over to bid the job, but they just gave a cursory look and provided us with an "eyeballed" estimate; Abraham stayed for over an hour to insure he didn't overlook anything. Once the job began in late Jan 2018, we knew that we again made the right choice with Popular Bathroom! Not only was the work done beautifully but we came back to a clean house everyday. We were also working with an interior designer who has worked with other contractors and she was very impressed with the detail and expertise that Abraham and his crew approached each task and how perfectly they were able to make our vision become a reality! The work was finished in a timely fashion and his estimate was spot-on! We were thrilled that there were no hidden costs or unforeseen surprises along the way. Abraham is very easy to communicate with and is extremely responsive when we had a question. We even had to change a few things mid-project and Abraham "rolled with the punches" with ease!  I'm so glad we found Abraham and Popular Bathroom on here. We couldn't be happier with the work done by this company. We had a shower door that needed to be refastened to the wall, basically a temporary patch job. Abraham came in for a consultation and gave me a plan and a reasonable quote. He contacted me a day later and said he was thinking about it and found a better way to do it. I really appreciated that he continued to work it out and wanted to do the job as best as possible. It just showed he cared. The quote did go up a bit, but again, very reasonable. From his action plan to execution, the service, install and clean up was top notch. Daily supervision and constant communication have really help my husband who is slightly OCD and was having an issue with having workers at the house. Abraham and his crew all have a welcoming smiley faces that will drop everything and run to help you, even with our groceries. The job was completed within time and budget, although we have decided to upgrade on a couple of items such as the tile and shower faucet. If you are a little weary about who you let into your house with Popular Bathroom you can sleep good at night knowing you are in good and professional hands.  We recently worked with Popular Bathroom at my grandma's condo. Avi and his team were kind, considerate and professional from start to finish. The job consisted of replacing drywall, insulation, overhead lighting, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, carpet, laminate flooring, and wallpaper throughout the kitchen, laundry room, dining room, and living room that were all damaged in a flood. They also painted (matching existing colors), and reinstalled cabinets, light fixtures, crown moulding, and appliances. They made every effort to make my grandma, and our entire family, feel as comfortable as possible and confident throughout the process. Avi was on-site every day to ensure work was progressing well, and his team completed the work within the timeframe they estimated.  This review is a couple months late, but it's given me plenty of time to enjoy my new master bathroom! Abraham and his team helped me create my dream bathroom and I'm so thankful. This was my first time remodeling anything and the most important things to me were being comfortable asking any/all questions (no matter how dumb they seemed) and that I was comfortable leaving this person alone in my place when I wasn't there. Abraham and his team checks all those boxes. He's easy to talk to, professional and is great at communicating - always responding to texts and emails. Judy, the woman who runs the office, is great too - super friendly and organized. Before the work even started, everything was laid out step by step so I knew what was happening and how much it cost, no surprises. The workers were on time and very respectful of the rest of my place/building. Things were finished on time and on budget.  We loved working with Abraham and Popular bathroom. A fiberglass tub in a guest bathroom in our condo had started cracking and leaking to the subfloor below. We decided that it was a good as time as any to gut and renovate our bathroom. We had a fairly good idea of what we wanted going into the project, but Abraham helped a lot and had many suggestions to help our project go smoothly. His crew and himself were very professional, always cleaning up after themselves and being respectful of us and our neighbors. Abraham was quick to keep us in the loop, and the job was finished quickly and efficiently. Every step of the way he took pictures and explained what himself and his crews were doing so we knew what was going on. He was very upfront with deadlines and how long everything would take and his deadlines were extremely accurate After the job was completed we noticed an issue where a part from our valve manufacturer was defective. Abraham went above and beyond to make sure that the part got replaced and installed properly and correctly, and that we were completely satisfied with the job. From start to finish, Abraham was patient, professional and most importantly he provided excellent quality work. Our shower was leaking and it turned out we had to replace the shower pan, redo hot-mop and put on new tiles. His office lady Judy was very helpful in scheduling and answering any questions I had, I really liked the fact that Abraham was easily reachable via text or call when I had questions or concerns, even on weekends.  Abraham and his crew did an excellent job on 2 bathrooms for us in summer of 2018. High quality with reasonable prices. The tile work and bathroom paint job were gorgeous. My husband and I were lucky to book him before he got very busy. Antonio, Victor, Carlos, the hot mop guy and his plumber did a great job and we trusted them in our home. Since this is my first major remodeling, I was proactive in reviewing their work promptly and giving feedback. I am generally an active participant in important things anyways. When I had some minor concerns, change requests on the bathrooms and remodeling advice he was prompt to respond. Abraham was still polite though the scheduling changes due to LA city permit and my HOA. I felt a little bad because it delayed his other project.
